Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

When you use Codeezly, we collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, and any content you create within the platform. We also automatically collect usage data including browser type, device information, and interaction patterns to improve our services. If you use optional voice input, the transcript text that is inserted into your draft is treated like any other prompt or message that you choose to submit. In browsers that require a compatibility fallback, a short audio clip may be transmitted to Codeezly and its transcription provider to generate that transcript.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to provide and maintain the Codeezly service, authenticate your identity, process your requests, improve our AI-powered features, communicate updates, and ensure platform security. Your project data is used solely to deliver the service and is not shared with third parties for advertising purposes.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We use PostgreSQL for database services with JWT-based authentication. Project files and code are stored in isolated environments. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.

4. Third-Party Services

Codeezly integrates with third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI and Anthropic) to power code generation features. When you use these features, your prompts are sent to these providers. We recommend reviewing their respective privacy policies. We also use authentication providers (Google, GitHub) if you choose to sign in with those services. Optional voice input may use your browser's speech-recognition capability when available. In browsers that require a compatibility fallback, Codeezly sends a short audio clip to its transcription provider only to generate transcript text before that text is placed into your draft. Codeezly does not store raw voice audio after transcription completes.

5. Your Rights

You may access, update, or delete your account and associated data at any time through your account settings. You can export your projects and request a complete copy of your personal data. To delete your account entirely, contact us at support@codeezly.com.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
